Ruth Shipman Duff

Mrs. Ruth Shipman Duff, 99, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, October 25, 2020 at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning, AR. Mrs. Duff was born in McDougal, AR., on May 8, 1921. She was a homemaker who enjoyed baking, quilting and doing crosswords. She loved spending time with family and loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters Mary Coleman of Houston, TX., and Elizabeth Haywood of Corning, AR.; six grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two husbands Dewey Shipman and Garland Duff; her parents Russell and Nora Ellen (Mofield) Goodman, two sons Bill and Bob Shipman; brothers Herman and Robert Goodman; and grandchild Karri Baker.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Corning Cemetery with Matt Moore officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 27, 2020 in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel at 1:30 PM.
