Ruth Jones

Mrs. Ruth Annis Jones, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away on Thursday, March 2, 2023 at home with her family after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Ruth was born on December 12, 1945 to Edward and Hallie Sisk in Nortonville, KY.

In 1966, Ruth met Audie Ray Jones while living in Evansville, IN., she stole his 1965 Chevelle and then his heart and they loved each other for over 50 years.

Ruth was predeceased by her sister Thelma Jean Bender, mother Hallie May Jones and father Edward Sisk and son in law John Knapp.

Ruth is survived by her husband Audie Jones, daughters Rayanna Knapp and Tonia Roberts (married to David Roberts), grandchildren Jamie Bealmear, Megan Poulin, Allison Roberts, Michael Roberts, Ethan Roberts, and five great-grandchildren, Victoria Hanes, Valerie Hanes, Riley Bealmear and Brynn Bealmear.

Funeral services will be held at Koehler Funeral Home, Boonville, IN., on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 10:00 am. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 10, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or a plant to add to moms garden.
