Mrs. Ruth (Morton) Tucker, 92, of Lugoff, SC., formerly of Peach Orchard and Hardy, AR., passed away Thursday, July 11, 2013 at KershawHealth Medical Center in Camden, SC. Mrs. Tucker was born in Peach Orchard, AR., on August 13, 1920. She was a homemaker and retired welder from Emerson Electric Company in Paragould, AR. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by one son Donnie Aaron Tucker of Lugoff, SC.; one daughter Sonja Carol Bensch of Ravenden, AR.; one brother Earl Morton of Spruce, MI.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Frederick Talmadge and Alice Hayes (Gillenwaters) Morton; one son Phillip Frederick Tucker and one daughter Judy Gale Wilkerson.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Brake officiating. Burial will follow the service at Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
