Mrs. Ruth Dean (Weese) Bishop Williams, 82, former long-time resident of Knobel, AR., passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Pocahontas, AR. Mrs. Williams was born in Knobel, AR., on November 1, 1934 the oldest daughter of Ralph Henry and Ardelar (Wilson) Weese. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed cooking, camping, sewing and quilting. She was a member of the Corning, AR., Chapter Order of Eastern Star and also the Ruby Chapter in Hardy, AR. She was a past Worthy Matron of Knob, AR., Order of Eastern Star. She was a member of the Rock Springs United Methodist Church in Knob, AR.

She married her husband of 44 years Mr. Donald Eugene Williams in March 5, 1960. He preceded her in death on January 5, 2005.

She is survived by one son Ralph Eugene Bishop of Pocahontas, IL.; two daughters Sarah Jane Stephens of Cherokee Village, AR., Teresa Ann Williams Hancock and husband Floyd of Pocahontas, AR.; one step-son Loyd Baker of Walnut, MS.; one son-in-law Eddie Stephens of Corning, AR.; one daughter-in-law Betty Bishop of Columbia, IL.; seven grandchildren Joey Foutch of Columbia, IL., Rachel Bishop of Saint Louis, MO., Randy Bishop of Brownstown, IL., Justin Stephens of Corning, AR., Stacey Stephens of Ash Flat, AR., Logan Hancock and wife SaraJane of Monticello, AR., Alisha Hancock Snell and husband Hunter of Jonesboro, AR.; one great-granddaughter Mckinlee Stephens of Ash Flat, AR.; seven step-grandchildren Heath Stephens, Heather Stephens Taylor, RL Baker, Shiela Baker Collums, Daniel Baker, John Baker, Tommy Baker; one brother Dewayne Weese and wife Linda of Paragould, AR.; two sisters Anna Hawkins of Corning, AR., Esther Jones of Imboden, AR.; three sister-in-laws Betty Weese of Knobel, AR., Ruby Williams of Knobel, AR., Marie Hickman of Corning, AR.; four nieces; twelve nephews; many other special family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one brother; one sister; three nieces and two nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at 12:00 PM in the Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR with Milburn Teasley officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.

Proudly serving as pallbearers will be Dusty Kirby, Alisha Hancock, Logan Hancock, Joey Foutch, Randy Bishop, Jonathan Weese.
