Samuel Gambrell

Mr. Samuel Thaddeus Gambrell, 72, of Brookland, AR., passed away Friday, May 2, 2014 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR. Mr. Gambrell was born September 16, 1941 in Talladega AL. He was a machinist, working many years for Riceland Foods in Jonesboro, AR. He proudly served his country as a member of the Arkansas National Guard. He was a member of the Brookland Baptist Church in Brookland, AR.

He married his wife Judy (Spence) Gambrell on December 19, 1975. She survives, he is also other survived by one brother Bob Gambrell of Birmingham, AL.

He was preceded in death by his parents Leon and Thelma (Studdard) Gambrell; son Brain Lee Gambrell; two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, May 5, 2014 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home chapel with Reverend Bill Becker officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning, AR. Visitation will be held Monday, May 5, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of service.
