Sandra Conyers

Sandra Conyers, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, June 13, 2025 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mrs. Conyers was born on October 11, 1943 in Saint Louis, MO. Sandra had work for Johanson Shoe Company, Carter Carburetor and Basler Electric before retiring. She enjoyed reading, doing crochet and fishing as she spent time at their cabin on Current River. She frequently attended Calvary Baptist Church in Corning.

She is survived by her husband Garry "Pistol" Conyers whom she married on July 27, 1967, they celebrated 58+ years together before her passing.

Other survivors are their children Gayla (David) Secrest of Reyno, AR., Bentley Hovis of Little Rock, AR., and Heath Conyers of Corning, AR.; and grandchildren Chandler Conyers and Avery Glasgow.

She was preceded in death by her parents Walter Red and Bertha (Valentine) Brooks.

Visitation will be held Monday, June 16, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM with John Harvey and Reverend Kevin Simmons officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Corning Cemetery.
