Sarah Richardson

Sarah Richardson, 60, of Paragould, AR., passed away Saturday, January 27, 2024 at home surrounded with family. Sarah was born on August 2, 1963 in Pocahontas, AR. Sarah was a 1981 graduate of Corning High School, she then earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Arkansas State University, she worked at Stephens, Inc. in Little Rock for 30 years and finished her working career with Tech Friends in Jonesboro. She enjoyed playing the piano and attending her nephews ball games. She attended West View Baptist Church in Paragould.

She is survived by her parents Virgil and Mary Lou Richardson of Corning; sisters Dianna Lynn Richardson of Corning, Laura Leigh (Bobby) Shipman of Jonesboro; uncle and aunts James (June) Keel of Corning, Dorothy Brady of Pineville, LA.; nieces and nephews Jacob Simpson, Rhonda (Josh) McKinley, Anna, Bobby Lee (Katie), Wil (Sarah) Shipman; great nieces and nephews Caleb, Aaron, Malachi and Benjamin McKinley, Bobby, Sabre and Penelope Shipman; cousins Billy Brady and Beth Pittman. Many others cousin, relatives and friends.

Sarah was preceded in death by her grandparents Jake and Virgie Richardson, Roy and Ruth Brady; and uncle Bill Brady.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jacob Simpson, Bobby, Bobby Lee and Wil Shipman, Josh McKinley and Grant Jones.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westview Baptist Church, 701 W Morgan, Paragould, AR 72450.

Visitation will be held Monday, January 29, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 2:00 PM with Bro. Bryan McDade and Marc Reeves officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR.
