Sherry Kersey

Mrs. Cherrill Ann “Sherry” Kersey, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, August 25, 2014 at Saint Bernard's Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Mrs. Kersey was born in Rockford, IL., on February 7, 1942. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time on the computer, poetry and sharing the stories she had written. She was of the Catholic faith.

She married her husband of 49 years Donald Ray "Don" Kersey on March 20, 1965. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter Holly Kersey of Corning, AR.; one sister Billie Joan Creed of Rockford, IL.; two brothers Bill Coffey of Rockford,IL., and Bob Coffey of Colorado.

She was preceded in death by her parents William H. "Bill" and Roseland (Cruse) Coffey.

Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marlin Ray Officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 30, 2014 from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
