Shirley Idell Eldridge

Shirley Idell Eldridge, 80, of Daleville, AL passed away February 16, 2021 at Medical Center Enterprise in Enterprise, AL.

Mrs. Eldridge was born January 21, 1941 in Brownwood Rural Heights, MO. She was a homemaker who loved raising roses with her husband, collecting cookbooks, and baking. She cherished time she spent with her family.

On July 5, 1958, she married Benton Doyle Eldridge. They were married 51 years prior to his death on September 14, 2009.

Survivors include her children Patricia Eldridge and Nancy (Brian) Douglas, both of Ozark, AL, Doyle (Rhonda) Eldridge of Burleson, TX, Douglas (Rhonda) Eldridge and Gregory Eldridge, both of Level Plains, AL; brother John Biby of Pocahontas; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents John Riley and Maude (Tucker) Biby; brother Jessie Biby; and great grandson Brandon Tant.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday February 25, 2021 at 9 a.m. at Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in Little Rock under the direction of Ermert Funeral Home. Interment will follow.
