Ms. Shirley Holt, 66, of Paragould, AR., passed away Wednesday April 21, 2010 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. Ms. Holt was a Restaurant Cook and Waitress and a member of First United Church in Paragould, AR.
She is Survived by three sons Greg, Kevin and Michael Slayton all of Paragould, AR.; two step-sons Hank Holt of Paragould, AR. Loyd Holt of New Hampshire; two brothers Thurman Cavitt of Corning, AR. Eugene Cavitt of Jonesboro, AR,; one sister Bitha Cavitt of Rector, AR. and 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Elsie Cavitt; one brother Leon Cavitt; four sisters Marie Sollis, Faye Yates, Irene Cavitt, and Wyvetta Sample and one grand-daughter Sunshine Slayton.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Johnnie Collie officiating. Public visitation will be Saturday at 2:00 PM until the time of service.
