Mrs. Shirley Louise Kirby, 74, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, December 25, 2015 at home. Mrs. Kirby was born in Corning, AR., on October 11, 1941. She was a homemaker, she enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
She married her husband of 49 years Lee Roy Kirby on January 15, 1966. He survives, other survivors include her children Shannon George of Paragould, AR., Vance Rea Kirby and wife Terry of Corning, AR., Kelly Ostrander of Barnhart, MO., Sherryelle and husband Billy Ford of Vienna, MO., Jerry Kirby and wife Joyce of Corning, AR.; two brothers Bob Walls of Corning, AR., Bill Walls of Biloxi, MS.; one sister Charlotte Bilyeu of Aurora, MO.; twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Chester Ray "Chett" and Iva Louise (Daughtery) Walls and son Mark Rea Kirby.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the First Freewill Baptist Church, on the corner of 4th and Hazel in Corning, with Richard Robinson and Keith Wooldridge officiating. Burial will be in the Corning Cemetery.
