Shirley Rogers

Mrs. Shirley Ruth Rogers, 81, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at Five Rivers Medical Center in Pocahontas, AR. Mrs. Rogers was born in Corning, AR., on March 21, 1938. She was a Med-Tech and C.N.A. who enjoyed attending church, cooking and baking. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship in Corning, AR.

She is survived by four children Marietta Rapert of Corning, AR., Rhonda Dunn of Corning, AR., Carla Herren of Pocahontas, AR., Dale Putman of Pocahontas, AR.; one sister Lucille Hovis of Neelyville, MO.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husbands Billy Putman and Blaine Rogers; two daughters Juanita Conway and Theresea Putman; parents Lewis and Bessie (Ridenback) Newingham; several brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 12, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Williams Cemetery in Corning. Visitation will be held Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
