Steve “Pete” Corder, 56, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026. Born on May 25, 1969, in Peach Orchard, Arkansas, he dedicated much of his life to his work with Robinson Construction, where he took great pride in his profession. Above all, Pete valued his time spent with his grandchildren, family, and friends, and he delighted in watching westerns during his leisure time.

On June 9, 2001, he married Melvina Watson, who survives him. He is also survived by his children: Steve Corder of Corning, Britany Nichole Corder of Reyno, Steve Corder Jr. of Corning, Beth Corder of Paragould, Bobby Buckhanan of Corning, and Clinton Buckhanan of Monette. Additionally, he leaves behind his mother Sherry Corder of Corning, his brother David Green of Corning, his sister Crystal King of Corning, as well as 20 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

Pete was preceded in death by his father Clarence Corder and two grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM, with burial to take place at Allen Cemetery.
