Mr. Steve Welty, 51, of McDougal, AR., passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mr. Welty was born in Piggott, AR., he was a farmer, he attended Missionary Baptist Church in McDougal.
He is survived by his father Robert Welty of Corning, AR.; his mother Zelda (Robinson) Hicks of Corning, AR.; and special friend Vera Blagg of McDougal, AR.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 13, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Loy Culver officiating. Burial will follow the service in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, AR. Public visitation will be held Saturday, February 12, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
