Steven Wallace

Steven Wallace, 70, of Memphis, TN., passed away peacefully Sunday, November 17, 2024 at home, surrounded by family. Mr. Wallace was born on December 30, 1953 in Memphis, TN. He was retired from Comcast Cable Company as a company fleet and shop manager. He was a self-taught and trained automobile mechanic. He also invested in real estate. He enjoyed, traveling, fishing, target shooting, and visiting zoos and museums to educate the young people in the family.

He is survived by his brothers William Wallace of Denver, CO., and James Wallace of Bartlett, TN.; his stepson Joe Perkins, stepdaughter Christi Morris and step granddaughter Olivia Mitton;  nieces and nephews Diane Reynolds, Brian Williams, Kristen Kelly, Jared Reynolds, and John Travis Kelly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Larry and Christine (Jackson) Wallace, a daughter Eva Marie Wallace and a brother Richard Wallace.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM in the Corning Cemetery with Herbert Ellis officiating. A celebration of life event will be held afterwards at a meeting room tbd.
