Mrs. Sue Ellen Fleeman Leonard, 70, of Corning, AR., left this earth on Saturday, December 31, 2016 and was welcomed into heaven by loved ones that had gone before her. Mrs. Leonard was born in Tempe, Arizona on October 6, 1946 the daughter of James Richard “JR” Fleeman and Pansy Pauline (Pierce) Hanners.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Freddie Ray Leonard, Sr., on November 15, 1968. This union was blessed with four children. Her husband preceded her in death on November 26, 2003.
Her hobbies included spending time with her children and grandchildren and also playing cards.
Her survivors include four children Tammy and husband Robert Spears of Corning, AR., Bryan Leonard of Corning, AR., Margaret Hawkins of Harviell, MO., Freddie Leonard, Jr., of Piggott, AR.; 10 grandchildren Olivia and husband Will Bauschlicher, Alexus and Illeanna Leonard, Tiffany, Andrew and Katie Hawkins, Jaxon and Zaylee Leonard all of Corning, AR., Craig Robertson of Dayton, TX., Zachary Miller and wife Courtney of Twentynine Palms, CA.: three great-grandchildren: Cameron Robertson of Waldo, ME., Macy and Laura Bauschlicher of Corning, AR.; special friends Linda and husband Byron Meridith of Corning, AR., Cheryl Raymond of Poplar Bluff, MO.; four siblings Tina Renee Hanners of Richlands, NC., Cecil Eugene Hanners of Phoenix, AZ., Virginia Faye Ivester of Holly Spring, MS., and Donald Lee Fleeman and wife Shirley Fleeman of Bernie, MO.
She was preceded in death by her parents Pansy Pauline Pierce, James Richard "JR" Fleeman; step-father Henry Franklin Hanners; two brothers Richard Douglas Fleeman and infant Ronald Lee Fleeman.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, January 3, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services in the Corning, Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2016 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
