Sue Pogue

Sue Pogue of Conway, AR., went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 5,2024. Sue Evelyn Palmer Pogue was born on September 21,1935 to her parents Jessie Gilbert (Gib) and Velma Palmer of Peach Orchard, AR. She was married to Dean Pogue and lived in the Saint Louis and Fredericktown, MO., areas and then later lived in Paragould and Conway, AR.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband. She is survived by her siblings, Mary Weaver of Paragould, AR., Larry Palmer of Conway, AR., and Carol Littlejohn of Heber Springs, AR. She also has many nieces and nephews that loved and cared for her.

Sue was a born again Christian of the Baptist faith. She was a hard worker. She retired from the Kroger Bakery factory in Saint Louis, MO. She was very talented and artistic. She played the piano, crocheted, quilted, colored and did many other arts and crafts.

She will truly be missed.

Visitation will be at held Thursday, May 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with David Zirle officiating. Her final resting place will be at Arcadia Valley Memorial Park in Ironton, MO. There will not be a graveside service.
