Sybil Hopkins

Ms. Sybil Beverly Hopkins, 69, of Corning, AR., passed away Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Murphy Health and Rehab in Piggott, AR. Ms. Hopkins was born in Pollard, AR., on July 30, 1942. She was a retired self employed cosmetologist, and a member of Living Word Fellowship in Corning.

She is survived by one son Darrell Warbritton of Corning, AR.; one daughter Diane and husband Bill Sheridan of Corning, AR.; six brothers Donald Hopkins and wife Darlene of McDougal, AR., Dennis Hopkins and wife Thelma of Applegate, CA., Kenneth Hopkins and wife Sarah of Rockford, IL., Rex Hopkins and wife Debbie of Poplar Bluff, MO., James Hopkins of Huntsville, AL., Stephen Hopkins and wife Vickey of North Fort Myers, FL.; two sisters Sharon and husband Johnny Gill of Rockford, IL., Dena McCall of Walnut Ridge, AR.; three grandchildren Katrina Armstrong, Todd Pearson, Christopher Sheridan; ten great-grandchildren Marcus Armstrong, William Gann, Christopher Pearson, Daniel Pearson, Kayla Pearson, Aiden McDole, Alexus Sessums, Gwenivere Sheridan, Luna Sheridan and Holly Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by parents Louis and Gussie (Dale) Hopkins; two sisters Ella Morgan, Uneta Hopkins and brother Danny Hopkins.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Jimmy McMasters amd Bill Meadors officiating. Public visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
