Tammy Conway passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2026, at her home. Tammy was born on December 26, 1968, in Corning, Arkansas, she was a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose kindness and spirited presence will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Tammy enjoyed spending time fishing or even just being outdoors. She absolutely loved being with her grandchildren and trying her best to keep up with their many activities. She attended church at the Ignited Worship Center in Corning, Arkansas.

Tammy’s life was anchored in devotion to her family. She is survived by her husband, Jerry Conway of the home; her children Samatha McKinney of Memphis, Tennessee, Caleb (Lacey) Conway of Corning, Arkansas, Laura (Jeremy) Mesey of Paragould, Arkansas, and Carrie Smith of Neelyville, Missouri; 11 grandchildren; her mother, Paggy McKinney, and her siblings: Tony McKinney, John McKinney, Carl McKinney, all of Corning, Arkansas, and Patricia (John Yount) of Black Rock, Arkansas. Tammy’s memory is also carried forward by many whose lives she touched along her path. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Lonzo McKinney, and her brother, Lonnie McKinney.

Throughout her life, Tammy’s presence shone brightly within her community and home. She approached each day with warmth, compassion, and a generous heart. Her legacy lives on through the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m., with William Allen officiating.  Burial will follow the services at Cantwell Cemetery, near Corning, Arkansas.

Tammy Conway’s life was a testament to the enduring strength of love, family, and community. She will be remembered with deep affection and reverence, and her legacy will continue to inspire all who were privileged to share in her life.
