Tara "Bug" Calhoun

Tara “Bug” Marie Calhoun, 19, of Corning, AR., passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 in Success, AR. Tara was born June 7, 2006 in Paragould, AR. She worked at Corning Sonic, and she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her father, Danny (Brandy) Calhoun of Corning; AR., mother, Hope (Derek) Scheffler of Siloam Springs; AR.; siblings Kindred Causey of Piggott, AR., Dylan (Maranda) Wheeler of Marmaduke, AR., Jalee Featherston of Paragould, AR., and Teegan Fowler of Jackson, MO.; grandparents Danny (Rhonda) Calhoun of Paragould, AR., Teresa (Chuck) Whitford of Troy, MO., Donna Romine of Piggott, AR., and Donna Booth of Poplar Bluff, MO.; aunts and uncles, Christal (Britt) Allmon, Chris (June) Stokes, Johnathan Bradshaw, Michael Calhoun, Diane (Jack) Holifield, Brian Romine, Patrick (Melanie) Miller and Angela Wheeler; beloved boyfriend, Noah Vanpool; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents James and Bonnie Calhoun, Bob Romine and Teresa Calhoun, and Uncle Daniel Harmon.

Visitation will be held Friday, October 17, 2025 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Eldon Parrish and Shawn Parker officiating. Burial will follow the services at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, AR.
