Teresa Martin, 72, of Corning, passed away October 12, 2026, at Corning Therapy and Living Center in Corning.

Mrs. Martin was born June 13, 1954, in Lafe. She dedicated many years of her working life to caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) before retiring. Outside of work, Teresa enjoyed playing the piano and preserving special memories through scrapbooking. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her family. Some of her happiest moments were made playing UNO with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories filled with laughter and love. She was a member of Old Millhouse General Baptist Church in Corning, where she shared in the fellowship of her faith.

Survivors include her husband, Gene Martin, of the home; her daughters, Tara (Scott) Russell of Siloam Springs and Heather Chandler of Corning; her stepchildren, Randy, Jamie, David, James, and Timmy Martin; grandchildren Brent Harmon, Cory (Shelby) Bush, Hunter (Stevie) Chandler, Johnny Bush, Blair (Abe) Chandler, Leighann Bush, and Miranda Chandler; and great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends who will cherish her memory.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Christine (Kersey) Small; and her brothers, Ronnie Small and Rory Small; and husband first, Al Wyatt.

Teresa will be remembered for the care she gave to others, her love for her family, and the special moments she shared with those closest to her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her loved ones, especially in the treasured family traditions and joyful memories they hold dear.

Visitation will be held Thursday October 15, 2026 from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Corning Cemetery.
