Terry Lee Lepard, 61, of Corning, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 23, 2025. Born and raised in Corning, Terry remained deeply rooted in his hometown throughout his life—a place he loved, and a community that loved him in return.
The son of Randell Lamar Lepard and Brenda Joyce Dabbs, Terry was raised for most of his life by his devoted stepfather, Jerry Wayne Long. From an early age, Terry developed a strong work ethic that would come to define him. At just 24 years old, shortly before the birth of his first son, he began what would become nearly four decades of dedicated farming. Day in and day out, from the crack of dawn until long after the sun had set, Terry worked tirelessly to provide for his family and build a life grounded in hard work, resilience, and love.
Terry’s hands told the story of a life spent in the fields—weathered, strong, and unwavering. He took great pride in the land he worked and the legacy he built, but his greatest pride came from being a father and grandfather. He poured everything he had into raising his sons, Terry Lee Lepard II and Logan Elliott Lepard, and later found immense joy in the presence of his grandson, Atlas Kade Lepard.
Outside of the fields, Terry had a zest for life. He loved the roar of a fast car, the thrill of a Nascar race, the stillness of a hunting morning, and the laughter around a campfire. He enjoyed good food, honest conversation, and never missed a chance to create memories with his family. In his later years, Terry discovered the joy of travel and the peace of companionship, spending cherished time with his longtime partner, Rhonda Miles, who remained faithfully by his side through the ups and downs of his health journey.
Terry is survived by his sons, Terry Lee Lepard II and Logan Elliott Lepard; his grandson, Atlas Kade Lepard; his brother, Randy Gene Lepard; his partner, Rhonda Miles; and his former wife, Jamie Leroux. He was a loyal friend, a generous neighbor, and a man whose quiet strength left a lasting impact on everyone he met.
Though the long days in the field have come to an end, Terry’s legacy continues—in the hearts of those he loved, in the lives he helped shape, and in the memories that will endure forever.
Memorial visitation will be held on October 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM with Herbert Ellis officiating.
