Mrs. Thala Lee Prince, 89, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 at Pocahontas Nursing and Rehab in Pocahontas, AR. Mrs. Prince was born in Pocahontas, AR., on October 27, 1923. She was retired from Johansen Brothers Shoe Factory in Corning, AR. She was Church of Christ in faith.
She is survived by her husband Ralph Prince of Corning, AR.; one daughter Diane Tharp of Pocahontas, AR.; two step-sons Ralph Prince, Jr. of Corning, AR., David Prince of Corning, AR.; two step-daughters Kathy Susan Hill of Paragould, AR., Brenda Prince of Corning, AR.; one sister Delta Troutman of Pocahontas, AR.; two grandchildren Kevin Tharp, Leanne Tharp; five great-grandchildren Colby, Brianna, Zachary, Logan, Landen; four step grandchildren Richie Ermert, Beth Vinson, Logan Prince, Holly Townsend; six step great-grandchildren Bentley, Baylee, Alyssa, Nicole, Kailyn, and Luke.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Neta (Looney) Blackwell; two brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
