Tinker Pyle

Bethel Pyle, “Tinker” to all, 72, of Corning, AR., passed away peacefully Sunday, October 1, 2023 at home surrounded by her family. Tinker was born May 17, 1951 in Palatka, AR., and lived most of her life in Success and Corning areas. She was a homemaker, hairdresser, seamstress, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all. She was a member of Success Church of Christ.

On April 17, 1969, she married the love of her life, Alan Pyle. They were married 46 years prior to his death on April 11, 2016.

Survivors include her children Justin Pyle of Corning, AR., and Ellen (Chris) Shockley of Tunica, MS.; brothers Lonnie Miller of Fairdealing, MO., and Ted (Pat) Miller of Corning; AR.; sister Lynn (Willie) Ward of Grandin, MO.; grandchildren Hunter (Sierra) Pyle of Doniphan, MO., and Charley Shockley of Tunica, MS.; great-grandchild Lakelyn Pyle; sister-in-law Carol Miller; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her brother David Miller; nephews Larry Bailey and Andy Miller; and her parents.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 5, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success.
