Tom Hill

Mr. Tom Hill, 66, of Nashville, Ar. formerly of Corning, AR. died Monday, June 7, 2010 at home. Mr. Hill worked for 33 years at Riceland Foods as a Leg and Bin setter, he served the community as a Volunteer Fireman for 20 years, he was a member of the Millhouse General Baptist Church in Corning, AR. he enjoyed gardening, mowing the lawn, hunting and fishing.

He married his wife Elsie (Webber) Hill on February 9, 1963, she survives. Others survivors include one son Jim Hill and wife Charity of Nashville, AR.; two daughters Lisa Martin of Corning, AR., Ashley Rapert of Pocahontas, AR.; two brothers Luther Ray Hill of Arnold, MO., William Hill of Springfield, MO.; two sisters Pauline Moser of Dyersburg, TN., Catherine Sue Davis of Dyersburg, TN.; four grandsons Marcus Martin, K.C. Price, Jordan Rapert, Jacob Hill,; four granddaughters Jewelie Harris, Ericka March, Amanda and Amber Martin,; one great granddaughter Savanna Martin.

He was preceded in death by parents Delbert and Zelma (McRath) Hill,; brother Jerry “Buck” Hill and niece Brenda Hill.

Funeral services will be conducted graveside Thursday, June 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning with Reverend Jim Parrish officiating. Public visitation will be held Wednesday, June 9, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM.
