Mr. Thomas Alvin "Tom" Wilson, 77, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, September 11, 2015 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Wilson was born in Corning, AR., on April 7, 1938. He was owner and operator of Tom’s Tuckpointing Company in Corning, AR. He loved working, traveling and Cardinal baseball. He was a member of the Gideon's International. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
He married his wife of 57 years Mrs. Carolyn Sue (Oxner) Wilson January 18, 1958. She survives, other survivors include two sons David Wilson of Jefferson City, MO., Greg Wilson and wife Pam of Corning, AR.; one brother Donald Wilson and wife Shirley of
Corning, AR.; five grandchildren David Wilson II, Morgan and husband Chase Callahan, Mathew Wilson and wife Kayti, Jared Wilson, Rachel Wilson, a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Henry Sanford and Nancy Jane (Keller) Wilson and daughter Kimberly Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, September 14, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh Raspberry officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, September 14, 2015 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
