Mr. Travis Lee Murray, 51, of Bunkie, LA., formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Monday, March 14, 2016 at SMN Health-Saint Mary’s Hospital in Richmond Heights, MO. Mr. Murray was born in Rockford, IL., on October 13, 1964. He Murray was a roofer and sweet potato farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, and riding horses.
He is survived by four children Amber Leach of Corning, AR., Travis Burkheart of Reyno, AR., Blake Calhoun of Marmaduke, AR., Amy Baker of Saint Charles, MO.; his mother Letha Frances (Wiseman) Murray of Corning, AR.; three sisters Charlotte Murray of Benton, AR., Lucia Burkheart of Reyno, AR., Rhonda Turner of Success, AR.; one half-brother Harold Cook of Lewistown, MO.; six grandchildren Felicity leach, Reece Leach, Griffin Burkheart, Cameron Calhoun, Braxton Calhoun, and Aaron Calhoun.
He was preceded in death by his father Clifford Lloyd Murray, Sr.; two brothers Clifford Murray, Jr., Clinton Murray and one sister Sherry Murray.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, March 18, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Crain officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11:00 until the time of services.
