Tressie Moore

Mrs. Tressie Earlene Moore, 81, of Neelyville, MO., passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at home. Mrs. Moore was born in Corning, AR., on April 24, 1940. She was a homemaker and farmer’s wife. She enjoyed gardening, going to church, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Apostolic United Pentecostal Church in Corning, where she served as an honorary trustee.

On July 15, 1957, she married her husband of 58 years Leon Moore. He preceded her in death on December 20, 2015.

She is survived by two sons Kevin Moore and Danny Moore, both of Poplar Bluff, MO.; one brother Lonnie Nelson of Little Rock, AR.; one sister Esther Taylor of Perryville, AR.; grandchildren Eric and Misty Moore; and great-grandchildren Kyleigh and Ava.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by two sons Johnny Moore and Ronnie Moore; parents Sam and Dorothy (Donaldson) Nelson; brothers Ralph Nelson, Howard Nelson, Hollis Dockins; sisters Madeline Boshears and Mary James.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverends Troy Johnson and Chris Dixon officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 1, 2021 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
