Velma Mae Palmer

Mrs. Velma Palmer, 97, of Delaplaine, AR., passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at Belle-Meade Healthcare in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Palmer was born in Delaplaine, AR., she was a homemaker and a member of the Delaplaine Baptist Church.
She married her husband Jessie Gilbert Palmer on March 24, 1932. he preceded her in death in June of 1998.
She is survived by one son Larry Palmer of Conway, AR.; three daughters Mary Weaver of Delaplaine, AR., Sue Pogue of Paragould, AR., Carol Littlejohn of Heber Springs, AR.; seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents George Washington and Della Louise (Myers) Williams and one brother Vernon Williams.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 1:30 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Adam Bruton officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Brownie Cemetery in Peach Orchard, AR. Public visitation will be held Sunday, February 27, 2011 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
