Vida Taylor

Mrs. Vida Elizabeth Taylor, 82, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Taylor was in Success, AR., on March 31, 1935. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First General Baptist Church in Corning.

She is survived by three children Vicky and husband Eddie Guthery of Texas, Vondel Taylor and wife Sherry of Corning, AR., Shawn Taylor of Corning, AR.; eight grandchildren Matt Taylor and wife Cindy, Ryan Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Lea Landreth, Jeremy Roofe and wife Teresa, Chris Roofe and wife Misty, James Guthery, Marcus Guthery; 16 great-grandchildren Montana Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Taylor Landreth, Allison Landreth, Denver Roofe, Trever Roofe, Dustin Roofe, Karli Barnum, Karter Barnam, Adam Barnum, Carson Barnum, Elizabeth Guthery, Augustus Guthery, Mathius Guthery, Coda Guthery, Adaline Guthery; four great-great-grandchildren Hayden, Henry, Chloe and KayLyn.

She was preceded in death by two husbands Charles Taylor and Bill Taylor; and her parents Howard and Margaret Ellen (Niswonger) Hurt.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2017 from 12:00 PM until the time of service.
