Mrs. Viola Ruth Hutchison, 74, of Boydsville, AR., passed away Monday, April 16, 2012 at Saint Andrews Place in Conway, AR. Mrs. Hutchison was born in Boydsville, AR., on December 14, 1937. She was a retired welder at Darling Store Fixtures. She was a member of Smith Chapel General Baptist Church in Boydsville.
She married her husband Demar James "Deb" Hutchison on February 23, 1956 in Miami, FL., he preceded her in death.
She is survived by two sons James Hutchison of Hardy, AR., Reuben Hutchison of Boydsville, AR.; four daughters Yvonne Jones of Dover, AR., Tina Hutchison of Fayetteville, AR., Sylvia Gauvey of Conway, AR., Jessie Petty of Rector, AR.; thirteen grandchildren Aaron Jones, Justin Hutchison, Kendra Walker, Dustin Ward, Nathan Ward, Tara Ward, Ethan Ward, Byran Hutchison, Travis Hutchison, Meagan Sparks, Chad Fry, Abie Petty, Ben Petty; six great-granchildren Austin Hutchison, Bethanie Hutchison, Matthew Bippus, Blayden Ledford, Dylan Ward, Lydia Ward and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband D.J. "Deb" Hutchison; her parents Herman Hughston and Ida Isabelle (Young) Pence; three brothers Joseph, Donald and Floyd Pence.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 19, 2012 at 2:00 PM in Smith Chapel General Baptist Church in Boydsville, AR., with Pastor Ernie Rinks officiating. Burial will follow the service in Maddox Cemetery near Boydsville. Public visitaion will be held Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home.
