Virginia Hancock

Mrs. Virginia Hancock, 89, of Knobel, AR., passed away Monday, January 25, 2021 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR. Mrs. Hancock was born in Pocahontas, AR., on March 4, 1931. She was a homemaker who enjoyed going antiquing, to flea markets, and yard sales. She enjoyed spending time with family and loved ones.

On July 7, 1951 she married her husband of 69 years Mr. John T. Hancock he survives.

She is survived by her son Johnny Lee Hancock of Knobel, AR., daughter Patricia (Tony) Gleghorn of Corning, AR., sister Shirley (Jerry) Bateman of Knobel, AR.; grandchildren Michael (Jessica) Gleghorn, Tommy (Alisa) Hancock, and Melessia (Mike) Woods; great-grandchildren Colt Michael, Bella Rae, Shane (Alex) Woods, and Tiffany (Chris) Reinhold.

Preceded in death by her parents Minnie and Clyde Alphin, and sisters Geraline Hancock and Geneta Curtis.

Pallbearer's: Michael Ray Gleghorn, Tony Ray Gleghorn, Tommy Hancock, Bryan Bass, Shane Woods, and Harold Hancock.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Knobel Cemetery Association, c/o Shelia Sellmeyer, PO Box 104, Knobel, AR 72435.

Funeral Services will be conducted Friday January 29, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, AR. with Rev. Cam Stevens officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 PM same day in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services at Hosea Cemetery in Knobel, AR.
