Virginia Lopez

Mrs. Virginia Rose Lopez, 75, of Datto, AR., passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at home. Mrs. Lopez was born in Ellsinore, MO., she was a longtime Business Owner, she enjoyed boating, fishing, playing cards and throwing darts, she was a member of the Datto Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter Debra Edington of Datto, AR.; one son Jesse "Bullet" Lopez and wife Susan of Troy, IL.; one daughter-in-law Michele Lopez of Crestview, FL.; three brothers Charles Eddington of Maynard, AR., Irvin Eddington and wife Irene of Doniphan, MO., Burton Eddington and wife Susie of Datto, AR.; four sisters Jaunita and husband Elmo Blackburn of Jonesboro, AR., June and husband Bert Swan of Datto, AR., Barbara and husband Frank White of Maynard, AR., Brenda Eddington of Datto, AR.; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Eddie and Anna (Wood) Eddington; husband Jesse Lopez; son Burt Lopez; sisters Eleanor Eddington, Ruth Wigger, Anna Jane Sullivan, Til McDowell; brother J.W. Eddington and grandson Jerry Lee Lopez.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, January 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger Hovis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be Sunday, January 9, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
