Virginia Mcknight

Virginia McKnight, 93, of Apollo Beach, FL, formerly of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at home. Mrs. McKnight was born July 20, 1930 in White Hall, AR. She was retired and enjoyed gardening and volunteering. She loved spending time with her family. She was of the Baptist faith.

On April 1, 1951, she married J.W. McKnight. They were married 42 years prior to his death on April 22, 1993.

Survivors include their children Sheila May of Apollo Beach, FL., Jimmie McKnight of North Carolina, David McKnight of Corning, AR., James McKnight of Rolla, MO., and Gary McKnight of Waxahachie, TX.; 9 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Toy Levi and Betty Icypheon (Cavin) Talley and siblings Lloyd, Lois, Joyce and Samuel.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor Charles Talley officiating. Burial will follow the services at Richwoods Cemetery, Corning, AR.
