Wanda Mae Barnett

Mrs. Wanda Mae Barnett, 84, of Paragould, AR., passed away Monday, September 6, 2010 at home. Mrs. Barnett was born at Datto, AR., she was a C.N.A. for 18 years at the Corning Nursing Home. She enjoyed word search, taking care of her family and her dog Brody. She was a member of the Knobel Church of Christ and Newton Street Church of Christ.

She married her husband Leroy Isaac Barnett, Jr. on December 30, 1943 he preceded her in death on June 1, 2008.

She is survived by two sons Larry Barnett of Jonesboro, AR., Robert Barnett and wife Cindy of Paragould, AR.; two daughters Linda Fraine of Paragould, AR., Cathy and husband Stan Carmack of Paragould, AR.; one brother Joe Arnold of Bowling Green, KY; two sisters Pauline Hanner of Poplar Bluff, MO., Lucille Archer of Paragould, AR.; five grandchildren Shawn Barnett, Anthony Childress, Kerry Barnett, Jonathan Carmack, Jordan Carmack; eight great-grandchildren John Mark Pruitt, Abby Pruitt, Alec Childress, Preston Barnett, Taylor Barnett, Garrett Barnett, Brock Barnett, and Alexander Barnett.

She was preceded in death by husband Leroy Barnett, Jr.; parents William and Lula (Tinkler) Arnold; two brothers Jack Arnold, Don Arnold; and one sister Kay Jarrett.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Holden and Joe Arnold officiating. Burial will follow the service in Bond Cemetery in Knobel, AR. Public visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
