Wanda Hammers

Ms. Wanda Hammers, 65, of Picayune, MS., passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020 in Knobel, AR. Mrs. Hammers was born in Lafe, AR., on August 11, 1954. She was a homemaker who enjoyed taking care of her beloved pets. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, good food, films and traveling. She loved being a grandmother. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include her daughter Kimberly and husband Scott Helton of Nashville, TN; mother Mabel Davidson of Knobel, AR.; brother Bobby Dodd and wife Dena of Corning, AR; and grandson Henry Van Helton.

She was preceded in death by her father W. G. Barney Davidson; two sisters Sylvia Jane Davidson and Judith Ann Noblin.

A celebration of life memorial will begin Saturday, February 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church, 701 W. 3rd St., Corning, AR. 72422

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Saint Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to your local Humane Society.
