Mr. Amos Wayne Baker, Jr. 55, of Corning, AR., passed away Tuesday January 31, 2012 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr Baker was born in El Dorado, AR., on September, 7, 1956. He was a truck driver, he served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a member of First Baptist Church in Corning.
He is survived by one daughter April (Baker) and husband Keith Haywood of Piggott, AR.; parents Amos and Edna Baker of Corning, AR.; two sisters Vicki (Baker) Lee of McDonough, GA., Valeri Baker of Columbia, MO.; two grandchildren Kain and Celeston Haywood.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Doctor Brett Cooper officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, February 3, 2012 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
