Wayne Stephens

Mr. Leslie Wayne Stephens, 56, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, MO. Mr. Stephens was born in Corning, AR., on April 10, 1955. He owned a flea market and produce business. He enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by one daughter Shelly and husband Daniel Croutch of Poplar Bluff, MO.; his mother Gloria (Harpole)and her husband Robert Snyder.; his companion Mary Rogers of Corning, AR.; five brothers William Foster of Corning, AR., Jimmy Don Foster of Missouri, John Snyder of Illinois, Benny Stephens and Jim Snyder both of Minnesota.; four sisters Regina Snyder, Debbie Snyder, Audrey Snyder and Beverly Sorg all of Illinois.; one grandson Davon Stephens; several nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Homer Stephens; two brothers Steve Foster, Robert Stephens; and one grandson Javon Stephens.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Donnie Fowler officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Friday, July 8, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
