Mr. Denver Wayne VanNada, 76, of Corning, AR., passed away near Piggott, AR., on Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Mr. VanNada was born in Success, AR., on February 21, 1938. He was a truck driver, owner-operator. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren, working with horses and trucking.
He married his wife of fifty-five years Barbara (Parker) VanNada on February 20, 1960. She survives, other survivors include three daughters Judy Barnett of Doniphan, MO., Cindy Norman of Jonesboro, AR., Nancy Wilson of Grapevine, AR.; one son John VanNada of Harrisburg, AR.; two brothers Elmer VanNada of Corning, AR., Delmer VanNada of Corning, AR.; nine grandchildren Michael Malone, Jason Barnett, Leslea Johnson, Victoria Vandiver, Jonathan VanNada, Joshua Norman, Matthew Norman, Brittany Norman, Kaesha Koons; nine great-grandchildren; two nieces Dolly Rogers of Waynesville, MO., and Retha Frye of Coldwater, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents James Elmer and Mary Elizabeth (Willis) VanNada; one brother Myron VanNada; six sisters Vera VanNada, Lena Pippin, Lorene VanNada, Nora Duff, Virgie Richardson and Halloween Barks.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Chris Dixon and Kathy Woodward officiating. Burial will follow the services at Hitt Cemetery in Success, AR. Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 11, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of service.
