Mr. Will Melton, 24, of Doniphan, MO., passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Ripley County Memorial Hospital in Doniphan, MO. Mr. Melton was born in Bartow, FL. He was a C.N.A., he enjoyed music, comedy, bowling and playing games, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his mother Anita (Gobel) Melton of Doniphan, MO.; one son Calib Michael Leonard; three sisters Stephanie Neilson of Lakeland, FL., Jessica Martin and Vela Melton both of Doniphan, MO.; one half brother Jerry Jackson Melton of IN.; two uncles Ronnie Gobel of Hendersonville, NC., John Gobel of Poplar Bluff, MO.; four aunts Kathy Johnson of AR., Maydella Melton of FL., Irma Underhill of TN., Estalee Looney of AL.; and a very dear friend Virgil Hooper.
He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Melton, his maternal grandparents John Henry and Jessie Geraldine (Cannon) Gobel; paternal grandparents Jerry Jackson and Vela Melton; two aunts Shirley Colon and Jeretta Nunley; and one uncle Marvin Gobel.
Public visitation will be Tuesday, June 29, 2010 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Melton Family or the American Cancer Society.
