William Ray Hall

Mr. William Ray Hall, 67, of Corning, AR., passed away Friday, June 18, 2021 at home. Mr. Hall was born March 1, 1954 in Piggott, AR. He was a fun loving, hardworking man who took great pride in his family, his military career as well as his career as a cable technician and over the road truck driver. He gave his time freely and generously to his family, friends, and community. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, collecting coins and traveling in his free time.

Survivors include his children Samantha Sackett of MO., William Kurt Hall of MS., Dorothy Hall of MO., and their mother Barbara, Troi Anna Justus of AR., Charles Barber of TX., Wesley Petty of KS., and Jeri Petty of TX., and their mother Paula; siblings Dot Hurt of Scopus, MO., Jean Dwinell of Hillsboro, MO., Linda Kimble of Corning, AR., Peggy Luna of Pensacola, FL., Brenda Skaggs and Gloria Skaggs, both of Corning AR.; grandchildren Steven and Skylar Carter, Cody Barber, Kenedy Petty, Brice Williamson, Izzy Hall, Brian Petty, Lark Brags, Allison, Jordyn and Logan Justus; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents Malcolm Hall, A. W. and Aline (Smith) Coleman; grandchild Rayeline Hall-Collins; brothers Melvin and Bob Hall and Bill Little; nephews Bobby Hall, Jr., Richard Barger and Jasper Guthrie; and niece Betsy Hall Ingram.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, June 24, 2021 3:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will be held Thursday, June 24, 2021 from 2:00 PM until the time of service.
