William Johnson

Mr. William Duane Johnson, 69, of Crystal City, MO., passed away Monday, November 21, 2016 at his home. He was born in Reyno, AR., on December 11, 1946, the son of the late Opal (Eddington) and Ivoury Johnson. He was a manager for Denver Wholesale Florist in Saint Louis, MO. He was an avid trotline fisherman, loved the Saint Louis Cardinals, and adored his grandchildren. He was a member of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Arnold, MO.

He is survived by one daughter Patricia Johnson of Crystal City, MO., two sons Brian Johnson and wife Melissa of Crystal City, MO., Bernard Johnson of New Orleans, LA., one brother Scott Johnson and wife Cindy of Arnold, MO.; five grandchildren Devon Wiley, Abigail Johnson, Emily Clements, Hailey Johnson, Noah Johnson; two brothers-in-law Eddie Pinkley and Rich Georgevich.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters Doris Gibbar, Gilda Pinkley, Sondra Georgevich and brother-in-law Bernard Gibbar.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the services a Nelson Cemetery in Reyno, AR. Visitations will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Vinyard Funeral Home in Festus, MO., and at 12:00 PM Saturday, November 26, 2016 until the time of services at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning, AR.
