William "Bill" Patrick Murphy

Mr. William Patrick Murphy, 47, of Corning, AR., passed away Thursday, June 2, 2011 at home. Mr. Murphy was born in Chicago, IL., Mr. Murphy was employed at Black’s Lumber Company, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, he was Catholic in faith.

He is survived by one son Jarred Murphy of Corning, AR.; three brothers Harold Murphy of Victorville, CA., Jimmy Murphy of Murrieta, CA., Frankie Murphy of Indiana; four sisters Ruth Ann Schuch of Chicago, IL., Delores Bruno of Chicago, IL., Margaret Brown of Chicago, IL., Sharon Hixson of Puryear, TN.; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Harold Joseph Murphy and Delores Ruth (Nacker) Murphy Ray and step-father Jesse Lee Ray.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Bob Halcomb officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Sunday, June 5, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
