Wilma Crafton

Ms. Wilma Jean (Easterwood) Crafton, 83, of Jonesboro, AR., passed away Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Saint Bernard’s Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. . Ms. Crafton was born at the Crocket Community near Pollard, AR., on September 17, 1930. She was a former hotel and restaurant owner. She enjoyed playing bridge, bird watching and gardening. She was of the Southern Baptist faith.

She is survived by her daughter Peggy and husband Max Higgins of Jonesboro, AR.; two grandchildren Eddie Landreth and wife Rhonda, Laura Landreth; two great-grandchildren Michael Landreth, Sierra Landreth; and a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents William Kirby and Eva Laura (Peck) Easterwood; her son Eddie Michael Crafton; six sisters Marie Alexander, Mae Davis, Mildred Davis, Mamie Dollins, Florene Blankenship and Wanda Smith; three brothers Marvin Easterwood, Bradley Easterwood and Doyle Easterwood.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, March 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Harlan and Jim Gillis officiating. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday, March 17, 2014 at 10:00 AM until the time of service.
