Wilma Glasgow, 92, of Datto, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at the home of her daughter, Kay Groves, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on October 13, 1933, in Corning, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Alfred and Myrtle (Cash) Weaver. Wilma dedicated her life to being a devoted homemaker and formerly worked as an assembly worker. She had a deep passion for cooking and quilting, and she treasured every moment spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, who brought her boundless joy.
Wilma is survived by her children: Judy Smith of Corning; Dewayne (Pam) Glasgow of Senath, MO; Diane (Clovis) Grissom of Paragould; Donnie Glasgow of Corning; Kay (Lonnie) Groves of Datto; Quince (Vickie) Glasgow of Corning; and Lisa Williams of Datto. She is also survived by her sisters, Peggy McKinney of Corning and Shirley (Ronnie) Baker of Paragould; 21 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Glasgow; her son, Joe Glasgow; her parents, Alfred and Myrtle Weaver; as well as her brothers William, Bill, Charlie, Jessie, and Alfred Weaver, Jr.; and her sisters Alice Smith, Judy Glasgow, and Jean Weaver.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Ermert Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 3 p.m. Wilma will be laid to rest in Cantwell Cemetery in Corning.
Her warmth, love, and dedication will always be remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
