Wilma Kavy

Mrs. Wilma Kavy, 78, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Corning Therapy and Living Center on Corning, AR. Mrs. Kavy was born in Knobel, AR., on March 30, 1943. She had worked in the shoe factory and sold Avon. She enjoyed crafting, poetry, baking and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Poetic Society of America. She Seventh Day Adventist in faith.

She is survived by her brother Gene Rice of Paragould, AR.; her grandchildren Rachel Grissom, Kenneth Holland and Jordan Holland; great-grandchildren Alec, Clayton, Noah, MaKayla, Jayla, Jaylen, JazaLynn, Jacobe, Jude and Rain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie Eldon and Lidy Mae (Bailey) Rice; her husband Pete Kavy; her daughter Shelia Holland; grandchildren Jonas Vanpool and Jessica Holland, brothers Earnest and Harold Rice; sisters Martha Arnold, Christine Hart and Louise Rice-Miller.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 20, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Richwoods Cemetery in Corning.
