Wilma Jean Pence, 82, of Corning passed away March 19, 2021 at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro.
Mrs. Pence was born February 26, 1939 in Knobel. She enjoyed spending time with her family, flower gardening, feeding birds, watching westerns on TV and visiting people.
On August 30, 1961, she married Floyd Gordon Pence in Corning. They were married 42 years prior to his death on August 15, 2004.
Survivors include her children Tanya (Jim) Stark of Jonesboro, Ron Pence and Tim Pence of Corning; brothers Roger Conway of Paragould and Jerry Conway of Corning; sister Peggy Petago of Knobel; grandchildren Rodney (Donna) Jones, Brandon (Tara) Jones, and Samantha McKinney; and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was also preceded in death by her parents Jack and Laura Pearl (Shoemaker) Conway; brother Charles Conway; and sisters Jackie Prine, Mary Herren, and Faye Bumpous.
Visitation will be Monday from 1 to 2 p.m. at Ermert Funeral Home in Corning. Graveside service will begin at Corning Cemetery at 2 p.m. with Pastor Herbert Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at the cemetery.
