Mrs. Winnie Jearlean Rogers, 86, of Corning, AR., passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, AR.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Success, AR., on June 13, 1931. She was a retired department supervisor for Corning Hospital. She enjoyed gardening flowers, cooking, volunteering for many organizations including the mission, attending church and reading the Bible. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Corning, AR.
She married her husband of 44 years Mr. Wayne Rogers on June 10, 1950, he preceded her in death on February 28, 1995.
She is survived by her son Fred Rogers of Naylor, MO.; her two daughters Anna Bryant of Corning, AR., Paula Rogers of Corning, AR; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Grove Allen and Elva Tennessee (Pruitt) James; one son Edwin Allen Rogers; Ten brothers; sisters Beulah Murphy and Faye Henson; grandson Henry Rogers; great-grandson Derek McComas and great-great-grandson Preston Pierce.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Jimmy McMasters officiating. Burial will follow the services in the Corning Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
