Joe Johnson

Mr. Donald Joe Johnson, 71, of Paragould, AR., passed away on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at home. Mr. Johnson was born in Corning, AR., on February 10, 1948. He was self-employed owning a gravel hauling business. He loved laughing, telling jokes, going fishing, and going to the dog track.He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during Vietnam. He was of the Baptist Faith.

He is survived by three children Donna Jo Delveaux of Rockford, IL., Joey Johnson of Paragould, AR., Donielle Andrews of Paragould, AR.; four sisters Celeste Allen, Fletta Brewer, Darlene Hambrick, Debbie Wilkerson; eight grandchildren Cameron Fluaitt, Donavin Fluaitt, Tye Johnson, Gavin Johnson, Cali Sue Johnson, Jaliah Johnson, Bryce Mears, Kailee Andrews; four great-grandchildren Trinity Fluaitt, D.J. Fluaitt, Jaxon Fluaitt, Maverick Mears; special friends Marla Gozell, Joyce Massey and Jimmy Jo Briney.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn (Laughlin) Johnson; his parents Everett Lee and Lola (Richardson) Johnson; three sisters Imodene Mason, Guynneth Nelson, and Laverda Maple; three brothers Ladoin Johnson, General Johnson and Dewayne Johnson.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 1:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Keith Wooldridge officiating. Burial will follow the services at the Moark Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 12:00 PM until time of service.
